Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, business, social work, sociology, or social science related field from an accredited college or university.
• Preferred: Graduate Degree from accredited program/institution in a human services field.
• Required: 2 years of experience in developing and implementing a program or business including experience in administration, financial management and supervision of employees.
• 3 years of experience in working with children and adolescents in a large organization.
• Preferred: 3+ years in senior management, multi-tasking high priority projects, development, oversight, and management.
• Supervises: CYD direct service staff.
• The Program Director is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to supervise staff to ensure quality service are provided and programs comply with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program components and resources that grow the CYD program.
• Conduct outreach to educate the public on the CYD program and create MOUs with other youth-serving agencies in CYD zip codes.
• Lead the assigned team with regular staff meetings to review and evaluate youth in the program and ensure staff needs are met.
• Ensure contract deliverables are met and best practices are used to provide quality services to youth.
• Act as liaison with program contract managers to initiate calls, participate in monthly meetings, and provide required reporting.
• Maintain an internal procedure manual with written processes and contract requirements.
• Guide and mentor all direct reporting staff and interns to promote optimal performance.
• Implement BCFS HHS safety protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality in all service areas and program operations.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards, dress code compliance.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
