Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, Education, Counseling, Psychology or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working with school-age youth and/or families in community-based programs.
• Supervisory skills and experience.
• Knowledge of youth development principles.
• Crisis/Emergency Management skills.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to interface with diverse populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English proficiency; bilingualism a plus.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and database operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all School Age youth programs: After-School and Summer Day Camp.
• Develop and implement quality, innovative youth programming based on youth development principles.
• Plan and schedule educational trips to foster learning and academic success.
• Obtain licenses required to operate School Age programs per guidelines.
• Perform Youth Outreach and Data Input.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for agencies and funders, including incident reporting.
• Maintain confidential client and staff files.
• Interview, hire, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Facilitate staff development workshops and coordinate trainings.
• Organize calendars, events, and community service projects; support family engagement.
• Communicate with parents to understand youth needs and enhance program quality.
• Collaborate with partner programs and other agency youth initiatives.
