Job summary

The YWCA of the City of New York is seeking a Program Director to oversee a school-based OST program that supports positive youth development and outcomes. The role reports to the Senior Director of Out-of-School Time and emphasizes leadership, equity, and anti-racism.

Responsibilities include program leadership, compliance with licensing and funders, data management, audits, and building collaborative relationships with school personnel, families, and community partners to ensure program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a child-related field and at least two years of direct experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• F-07 & S95 Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of DYCD COMPASS and SONYC frameworks and NYCPS partnership protocols.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment with DYCD COMPASS/SONYC frameworks and YWCA mission and vision.
• Oversee daily operations, maintain a safe, compliant environment, and emergency plans.
• Data collection, attendance tracking, and reporting in DYCD Connect.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and supervise program staff.
