Job summary

The YWCA of the City of New York is seeking a Program Director to lead the implementation of its school-based Out-of-School Time (OST) program. You will be responsible for fostering positive youth development while ensuring compliance with funding and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a child-related field and at least two years of relevant experience.

Applicants should be committed to diversity and inclusion and should possess strong organizational and communication skills. This full-time role requires leadership in both operational and programming aspects, with an expected salary range of $68,000 to $75,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct experience working with school-age children.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DYCD COMPASS and SONYC frameworks.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Recruit, hire, and supervise all program staff.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and funder requirements.
