Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem NH is seeking a Youth Development Professional to supervise daily youth activities, deliver engaging programs, and promote a safe and supportive environment for members aged 6-18.

Under supervision of the Program Director or Teen Center Director, you will coordinate activities, support theme days, and help implement discipline and safety policies while building positive relationships with youth, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in high school or holding a GED is required.
• Positive attitude and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities for youths aged 6-18 in the program.
• Plan and deliver daily and weekly activities and theme days.
• Maintain safe, professional, and welcoming program environments.
• Communicate with members, parents and program leadership.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as requested.
• Be punctual and adaptable to schedule/weather changes.
