Job summary

Southern Indian Health Council in La Posta/Alpine seeks a Youth Programs Aide to support Social Services and guide club activities. This part-time role emphasizes safe, engaging programs that promote academic success and healthy lifestyles for youth.

You will collaborate with staff and volunteers, register members, coordinate meals, and assist in special programs while maintaining program quality and youth outreach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a High School diploma or GED.
• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of youth development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
• Ability to interact with the general public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Promote and stimulate program participation, especially for teens.
• Register new members and participate in their club orientation process.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Effectively implement and administer programs for drop-in members and visitors.
• Monitor and evaluate programs for safety, quality, and appearance; track outcomes.
