Arc Experience in San Diego, CA seeks an Assistant Site Coordinator to support daily after-school programs and lead activities under the Site Coordinator.

You will engage youth, coordinate attendance, develop clubs, and collaborate with school staff to ensure safety, behavior, and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Good communicator with kids and parents.
• 48+ college credits or pass proficiency exam.
• TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required.
• English-Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator as second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee the safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce rules to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate and lead enrichment activities indoors and outdoors.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings on best practices in childcare and program management.
• Create unique clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
