Police Athletic League Inc in New York City seeks a Content Specialist to elevate out‑of‑school programming across SEL, STEM, literacy, arts, and college readiness. You will join the leadership team and work with frontline staff to ensure high‑quality curricula and adherence to funder requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel to PAL locations across the five boroughs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; master's preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to train staff.
• Experience with curriculum development, implementation, and coaching.
• Willingness to travel to PAL locations across the five boroughs.

Responsibilities

• Foster social and emotional competencies and well‑being in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Learn PAL curricula and provide professional development to frontline staff.
• Observe, evaluate, and coach staff; give feedback and support.
• Coordinate with NYCPS partners to align services and logs for IEPs and referrals.
• Ensure programs align with PAL policies, SACC regulations, and funder requirements.
