The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a CDL-certified Bus Driver to transport youths safely between program sites at the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA. You will maintain attendance, coordinate supplies, and support program delivery while upholding YMCA safety standards.

Responsibilities include training compliance, collaboration with Directors, and handling daily tasks with a focus on safety, service quality, and community involvement. CPR certification within 30 days is required.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Provide sound, caring and positive leadership for youth.
• Knowledge of safety standards for passenger routes.
• Pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, MVR, and drug screening.
• Pass a driving record check to drive for the YMCA.
• Must have own transportation to travel to assigned location.
• Must be available to work 7:00am–7:00pm, Mon–Fri.
• Knowledge of rules for commercial passenger vehicles (bus).
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment and maintain thereafter.

Responsabilidades

• Take daily attendance at the start of the program and during transitions.
• Coordinate supply requests with directors.
• Maintain open communication with branch staff and school staff.
• Assist in planning and implementing programs per YMCA licensing guidelines.
• Attend required trainings (Bright from the Start, YMCA, etc.).
• Consult with Directors on student development or behavior concerns.
• Carry out daily program tasks related to the position’s scope.
• Keep up-to-date on OS program issues.
• Promote and ensure smooth operation of programs and high service levels.
• Maintain certifications (CPR, safety) and reporting paperwork.
• Assist in all YMCA activities and community involvement.
• Adhere to safety and ergonomics requirements.
