Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to provide safe transportation for program participants and to support youth development initiatives across Atlanta. The role requires some early hours and adherence to licensing guidelines, CPR timing, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include attendance tracking, coordinating with directors, and maintaining strong communication with staff while upholding the YMCA’s values and community-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• CPR within 30 days of employment and maintain throughout employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, BFTS fingerprinting, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Take daily attendance at the start of the program and during transitions.
• Coordinate supply requests with directors.
• Establish open lines of communication with branch staff and school staff.
• Assist in planning and implementing the program according to YMCA licensing guidelines.
• Promote and ensure safe transportation to and from program sites.
