Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a CDL bus driver to transport program participants safely to and from sites while fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment. Reporting to the Afterschool Director, you will attend required trainings, maintain attendance logs, coordinate supplies, and work with staff to implement YMCA licensing guidelines and program goals.

A CDL, clean MVR, background checks, and availability 7:00am–7:00pm weekdays are required; the role offers

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Provide sound, caring leadership for youth and maintain safety standards.
• Pass a criminal background check, BFTS fingerprinting, MVR, and drug screening.
• Pass a driving record check to drive for the Y.

Responsibilities

• Take daily attendance at the start of the program and during transitions.
• Coordinate supply requests with directors.
• Establish open lines of communication with branch staff and school staff.
• Promote, monitor, evaluate and ensure smooth Out of School programs.
