Job summary

The Mittleman Jewish Community Center is seeking a Youth Programs Attendant to provide direct care and supervision for children from six months to five years old in our drop-in childcare setting. You may also assist with transporting children to recreational activities or participate as a camp counselor during Vacation Day Camps.

Qualified candidates will have American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED certifications, the ability to read and communicate effectively with staff and parents, and

Qualifications

• American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.
• Education sufficient to read, write and perform the duties of the position.
• Responsible experience providing care and supervision to children.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision of children to ensure a safe, secure environment and report issues to parents and supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and inform staff and parents about MJCC programs and policies.
