Job description

Position Title: Childcare attendant; FLSA: Hourly/Non-Exempt; Part-time, not to exceed 20 hours per week; Department: Membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and engaging environment for small groups of children (8 weeks to 9 years) in the JCC Childcare Room while caregivers use JCC facilities during Monday–Friday 8am–noon; Monday–Thursday 4pm–7pm; Sunday 9am–noon.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities.
• Ensure safety and proper check‑in/out procedures.
• Adhere to staff guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilize toys/areas.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
