Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP) is seeking a Teen Staff member at the Redwood City Clubhouse. You will build positive relationships with members, help youth with problem-solving, and relay information about events and activities to the community.

You will support program operations, document membership data, and assist with set-up and clean-up of activities while reporting to the Department Leader. This role emphasizes responsibility, punctuality, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 2.5 for the academic year while employed with BGCP.
• Attend all professional development classes and Teen Staff training.
• Work hours limited by work permit; max 5 hours/week if on probation.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships with club members and support their academic success.
• Communicate information about events and activities to members and the public.
• Keep track of programs and membership data for reports; perform administrative tasks.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for programs and events.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the clubhouse.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
