Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma Valley is seeking Program Assistants to help deliver high-quality after-school programs for youth from elementary to high school. Under supervision, you will support engaging activities, manage classroom safety, and reinforce club values in a structured setting.

Ideal candidates demonstrate patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for youth development, with the ability to communicate clearly with students and staff, and to work the listed afternoon schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+? (age requirement) as specified in posting.
• Availability: Mon–Fri 2:00–6:00 p.m.; Wed 12:15–6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care, safety, and supervision of youth TK–12th grade, focusing on Middle School.
• Lead and facilitate engaging programs for groups up to 20 members.
• Maintain safety, inclusivity, and program quality.
• Complete safety incident or accident reports as needed.
• Promote positive behavior consistent with Club philosophy.
