Job summary

The Salvation Army Kalispell Corps is seeking a part-time Youth Program Assistant to support the Corps Officer in running youth programs. Responsibilities include supervising SAY Club participants, setting up spaces, transporting youth, and coordinating with parents.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; prior church youth work is a plus. Position is on-site in Kalispell, MT with weekend and some evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work with children in a church setting is beneficial.
• Previous Salvation Army work or volunteer experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during SAY Club programs.
• Set up chapel, gym, and classrooms for youth programs.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of youth program areas.
• Assist with ordering and pickup of supplies for the youth program.
• Communicate with parents regarding programs and attendance.
• Serve meals and snacks per food safety regulations.
