Job summary

Big Valley Rancheria’s Boys & Girls Club is hiring a Program Assistant to help create and oversee core program activities, events, and field trips for youth ages 5-17, promoting academic success, physical fitness, and nutrition.

You will engage positively with youth, coordinate with parents and community partners, and support safety standards while attending staff meetings for ongoing growth. A valid CA driver’s license is required. This role is on-site in Lakeport, CA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 1-3 years experience working with youth in a group setting.
• Working knowledge of health and wellness programs, events, and classes for youth.

Responsibilities

• Care, safety, and supervision of youth ages 5-17.
• Plan day-to-day program activities and facility readiness.
• Interact with youth in positive recreational and educational activities.
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-kept facilities and equipment.
• Represent the Club at local community meetings and events.
• Provide transportation for youth when needed.
• Attend staff meetings and training for professional growth.
