Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. seeks a Youth Program Manager to oversee residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities in Perrysburg, OH. You will coordinate services, supervise staff, and ensure community engagement.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to handle multiple tasks, including medical appointments, behavior support, and family communication. On-call responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in social services or related field preferred.
• At least two years of experience in developmental disabilities, preferably in residential services.
• May substitute I/DD experience with at-risk youth experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Good decision-making and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals receive quality services and community engagement.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in development and implementation of behavior support strategies and training.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure strong communication and customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure thorough training and high-quality service.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services and coverage for all shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and service team.
