Job summary

Brooklyn Center Community Schools is seeking an energetic Youth Program Staff to deliver high-quality Out-of-School Time activities for 26-27. You’ll plan lessons, supervise up to 20 students, and foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports student wellbeing and leadership opportunities.

You’ll collaborate with the Community Schools team, coordinate with families, and assist with snacks, daily needs, and program logistics at BCE and BCMS/BCS locations.

Qualifications

• Create culturally responsive, high-quality OST lesson plans.
• Deliver instruction to up to 20 students at a time.
• Promote student wellbeing and positive program climate.
• Coordinate with partners and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality OST programming to students and support wellbeing.
• Coordinate with the Youth Programs Coordinator and partners.
• Recruit students and oversee leadership opportunities.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and keep records as required.
• Distribute snacks or meals and supervise cafeteria areas.
• Establish effective communication with families, staff and students.
