Qualifications

• MN Teaching licensure in Special Education is required.
• Experience writing IEPs and knowledge of evaluation processes (including Functional Behavioral Assessments).
• Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports; ability to write a Behavior Intervention Plan; understanding due process procedures.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary students with special education needs in a resource room setting.
• Write and monitor IEPs, BIPs, and coordinate evaluations as part of student plans.
• Collaborate with a team and participate in CPI training when required.
• Adhere to due process procedures and maintain effective oral and written communication.
