Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of child development principles.
• Experience with school age children preferred.
• Must pass criminal background and fingerprint checks.
• CPR and First Aid within 90 days of employment.
• 18 Bright From the Start approved training hours per year must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of children indoors and outdoors.
• Implement curriculum provided by Program Director.
• Assist with attendance records and routine clerical tasks.
• Coordinate transition between school day and parent pickup, sign-in/out, and transportation records.
• Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness of YBASE areas and supplies.
• Distribute snacks/meals per Second Harvest and YMCA guidelines.
