Job summary

Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP) in Newport News, VA seeks a Team Leader to create innovative before and after school programming for youth. You will coordinate weekly activities aligned with agency curricula and manage data reporting from multiple client databases to track outcomes.

The role requires strong organizational skills, independence, and the ability to work with school partners, parents, and community coalitions.

Qualifications

• High-level communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience coordinating programs and reporting data
• Must be able to drive and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Document daily activities and attendance using agency systems
• Facilitate weekly youth workshops at schools and satellite offices
• Conduct monthly parent meetings to coordinate wrap-around services
• Serve as liaison to advisory committees and coalitions
• Create and maintain community partnerships
• Outreach and community workshop activities
• Complete intakes, determine eligibility, and maintain youth files
• Operate a vehicle for work activities
