Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a team leader for their Child and Youth Services programs in Arlington, Virginia. This role is responsible for the developmental care and instruction of children aged 6 weeks to 18 years, ensuring a suitable educational environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in group programs for youth and effective communication skills. Regular full and part-time employees are eligible for health and life insurance, 401(k), and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months experience in group programs with children/youth.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead team responsible for developmental care for children and youth.
• Implement developmentally appropriate programs.
• Develop and plan educational lesson plans for children and youth.

Skills

Effective communication skills in English

Knowledge of child/youth development

Ability to collaborate with team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree or 60 semester hours in a related field

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field
