Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group in New Jersey seeks a Prevention Consultant Supervisor to lead a team delivering trainings, workshops, and assemblies for youth and families. You will collaborate with schools, districts, and community partners to advance prevention efforts.

The role requires a Master’s in a related field and at least three years of experience, with Spanish language skills a plus, a valid NJ driver's license, and compliance with fingerprinting/DCF standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Education
• Three years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in Spanish; both verbal and written a plus
• Valid NJ Driver’s License, safe driving record and vehicle availability per DCF
• Satisfactory fingerprinting results per DCF/DOE regulations

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate trainings, workshops, webinars, and assemblies for youth and families
• Provides supervision to a team of Prevention Consultants, managing daily activities and performance
• Assists in programmatic data collection, reporting, and quality improvement
• Facilitates trainings and events at HUB vicinage schools
• Builds alliances with schools, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community centers
• Delivers excellent customer service and maintains positive relationships with participants
• Implements evidence-based prevention services with fidelity
• Coordinates with program collaborators on best practices for prevention science
