Job summary

DCCCA in Kansas is seeking a proactive professional to support program development, implementation, reporting, and evaluation to meet funding requirements. The role involves coordinating meetings, trainings, and conferences, tracking project components, and creating social media content and virtual learning opportunities.

You will work with YEP and Engage Douglas County partners to advance prevention and community health initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
College hours in community health, communications, human services, teaching, or related field.
Two years of experience in community-based health issues and/or training.
Experience with project management.

Responsibilities

Supports program development, implementation, reporting, and evaluation to meet funding requirements.
Manages coordination and content during meetings, training, events, and conferences.
Tracks and manages components required for project reporting.
Creates and promotes social media content and virtual learning opportunities.
Coordinates the YEP and school-based partnerships of YEP.
Assists in the facilitation and coordination of Engage Douglas County meetings.
Implements prevention initiatives, educating communities and youth on substance misuse, suicide prevention, and mental health promotion.
Provides training and technical assistance to community partners on substance misuse, suicide prevention, and mental health promotion.
Supports other prevention projects as assigned.
