Job summary

CFF is seeking a Youth Peer Support (YPS) to assist parents/caregivers of youth in Montgomery County’s Intensive Care Coordination program. The YPS provides trauma-informed, person-centered guidance face-to-face or via telehealth to help families reach their Family Service Plan goals.

The role supports the ICC Team, leveraging lived experience to model resilience and navigate systems, while helping youth build community supports and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience handling complex emotional and behavioral needs is required.
• Life experience that shows understanding of youth with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide youth throughout the ICC process and develop their team of supports.
• Help youth use their voice to meet needs and build natural supports within the community.
