Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Youth Peer Support Specialist in Ohio to work field-based with a focus on ages 16-22, addressing school challenges and transition to adulthood. You will provide coaching, supports, and resources to promote long‑term recovery, collaborating with clinical teams to tailor wrap-around services.

Applicants must have lived experience with mental health/substance use issues, be Ohio-based, and able to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Must have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use issues.
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
Proficient with a computer and MS Office (Word/Excel).
Complete Youth and Adult Certified Peer Support Training within 90 days of start.
Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work.

Responsibilities

Share personal recovery journey with youth to provide hope.
Assist and support youth to identify and build community and supports.
Collect and share information about community resources, especially for youth/young adults.
Collaborate with clinical services to address member needs using wrap-around methods.
Help families understand available services and supports in the community.
Support recovery goals and adapt tasks to fit culture and language of members.
Participate in weekly supervision and required data collection.
Document time, mileage and expenses accurately and on time.
