Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Youth Peer Support Specialist to empower teens and young adults on their recovery journey. You will share lived experience, coach youth, and collaborate with clinical staff to tailor wrap-around supports and promote self-advocacy.

Based in Ohio with required travel up to 50%, you will work across multiple offices and community settings, including home visits. Strong communication and computer skills, plus completion of peer support training, are essential.

Qualifications

• Must live in Ohio.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must be located in Ohio.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations with personal vehicle and valid license.
• Experience using MS Office Suite, Word and Excel.
• Completion of Youth and Adult Certified Peer Support Training within 90 days.
• Must be 18 years or older with lived experience of mental health/substance use.

Responsibilities

• Share personal journey with youth to inspire recovery.
• Assist youth to identify community resources and supports.
• Collaborate with clinical team using wrap-around approaches.
• Support youth and caregivers in understanding services available.
• Document time, mileage and expenses accurately.
• Conduct at least 50% of activities in community settings.
