Job summary

C Cohannet Academy, located within Taunton State Hospital, is seeking a Peer Mentor to help youth ages 13-18 through trauma-informed, evidence-based support. The role emphasizes empathy, resilience, and collaborative work with a dedicated team at Cohannet Academy within JRI.

Qualifications

• Must have personal experience living with and recovering from mental health needs, substance use, and/or traumatic life concerns.
• Experience as a Peer Mentor or completed advanced peer-to-peer training program.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in growth through trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
• Contribute to a cohesive, supportive team environment while delivering services to adolescents.
