Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley, in collaboration with AmeriCorps, is seeking dynamic youth-focused professionals to provide outreach, support, and advocacy for youth and families facing housing insecurity.

AmeriCorps Program Assistants will employ a trauma-informed approach, work independently and with teams, and engage in crisis intervention, hotline response, and community outreach to help unhoused and at-risk youth and families in the service area.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and interest in working with vulnerable youth.
• Experience with at-risk youth is preferred.
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, support, and advocacy to youth and families in need.
• Conduct crisis intervention and hotline response.
• Perform street and community outreach and basic needs support.
