Pathfinders in Wisconsin is seeking AmeriCorps members to commit to a year of service supporting at-risk youth. Members work about 33 hours per week (roughly 1,700 hours annually) and receive a living allowance of $20,772. The role includes establishing street-based connections, conducting assessments, and assisting with housing and employment referrals.
Health insurance is provided, and extensive training opportunities are offered during the September 1, 2026–August 31, 2027 grant period.
Funded through a grant from the Federal AmeriCorps Worker Program administered by the State of Wisconsin, AmeriCorps members commit to a year of community service averaging 33 hours per week (minimum of 1,700 hours annually during the grant period of September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027) and in return receive a living allowance of $20,772 per year of service ($865.50 gross per bi weekly pay check), plus an educational award upon successful term completion that can be used for either new advanced education tuition that accept federally subsidized loan or for re-payment of existing federally subsidized loans student loans. Health insurance is available at no cost for AmeriCorps members, and child care benefits assistance is provided to qualifying AmeriCorps workers. Extensive pre-service and in-service training opportunities are required and are provided free of charge to participating AmeriCorps workers throughout Wisconsin.
