Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley is seeking a Youth Advocate to support youth facing barriers across Menasha, Neenah or Appleton locations. You will use non-violent crisis interventions, restorative justice, and mediation to promote positive experiences for Club members.

Working with the Behavioral Support Services Director, you will supervise the Sensory Room, run small groups, help members set goals, and maintain in-depth case files while upholding trauma-informed, equity-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years working with at-risk youth and families.
• Experience with child/adolescent development and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support youth behavioral challenges one-on-one.
• Oversee daily operations of the Sensory Room.
• Facilitate Sensory Room sessions with Club members.
• Lead small group programs to support social-emotional learning.
• Develop goals with youth to promote full program participation.
• Maintain organized and detailed case files.
