Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Youth Ministry Assistant for the Northern Kentucky Corps, Covington, KY. This full-time, non-exempt role supports ministry to children and families and helps bridge community programs into church activities.

You will run enriching youth ministry programs, coordinate activities, supervise volunteers, and report program statistics to the Corps Officers. Must be able to work 35–40 hours weekly and adhere to licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Must be safety conscious and able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Teach/Coordinate Youth Sunday School.
• Participate in Sunday programs and related activities.
• Support outreach and evangelistic opportunities.
• Oversee and run Corps Children’s programs.
