Job summary

ExpertCare in Michigan is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes, supporting skill-building activities and encouraging personal growth.

You will also take recipients into the community to help strengthen goals outside the home; full and part-time roles with paid training and flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with recipients in clients' homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Bring recipients into the community to grow personal goals.
• Adhere to care plans and documentation as required.
