Thompson Child & Family Focus - A Child's Place Program in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Professional Mentor to provide long-term mentorship to 8-12 male youths in school and community settings. You will track progress and coordinate with families under a two-generational model.

The role offers non-traditional hours (roughly 11 am–7 pm) with some Saturdays/evenings, on-site in Charlotte. Starting pay ranges around $18.75–$19.71 hourly, with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience or Associate degree with 3 years of experience working with children.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term mentorship to 8-12 male youth in school, home, and community settings for 16 hours per month.
• Build relationships with caregivers and partners via a two-generational approach to provide resources and referrals.
• Self-manage and document goal-focused outings, hours served, and contacts with families and teachers.
