Job summary

Xiente, based in Philadelphia, seeks a Youth Mentor/Driver for its Youth Take Action Program. The role combines mentoring youth with safe transportation to program activities and supporting daily operations.

The ideal candidate will drive a 12–14 passenger van, provide homework help, and maintain a positive, engaging environment. Part-time with rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Human Services, Education, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or working with youth in any capacity.

Responsibilities

• Interact with youth aged 10–17 in a positive, age-appropriate manner.
• Provide homework assistance and academic support.
• Supervise and support groups during program activities.
• Safely operate a 12–14 passenger van for participant transportation.
• Help create a safe, welcoming environment and mentor youth.
• Engage in community events and program operations as needed.
