Job summary

South Hills Interfaith Movement in Pittsburgh is seeking a Program Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for students in grades 6-12 after school.

The role is part-time, full-year, on-site with multiple routes to ensure students reach the program safely and on time. The driver will work Monday–Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm and coordinate routes with the Youth Mentoring Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Relevant experience or education in youth development, education, social-emotional support, and transportation will be considered.
• Ability to work evening and occasional weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from the program using agency vehicles.
• Coordinate daily driving routes with Youth Mentoring Manager.
• Demonstrate positive interactions and behavior management with all children.
• Build strong trusted relationships with students.
• Work cooperatively with staff, volunteers, and students.
• Maintain vehicles with oil, fluids and tires checked; ensure fueling, cleaning and inspections.
