Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable Youth Mentors to provide 1:1 support in the homes of recipients across Southeast Michigan. You will encourage skill-building activities and help clients grow toward personal goals in a caring, structured environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with recipients in their homes to support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Take recipients into the community to help grow and strengthen personal goals outside of their home environment.
• Adhere to care plans and collaborate with families to monitor progress and outcomes.
