Job summary

Mission Prep Healthcare in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator) to support adolescents in our Residential Treatment Facilities. You will coordinate transportation, assist with daily activities, and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment as part of the AMFM Healthcare family.

The role emphasizes teamwork with management and clinical staff, adherence to Joint Commission standards, and documentation in BestNotes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Background checks required (ADP Selective Screening Services and others).
• Valid driver's license with 4 years driving experience and clean record.
• Physical ability to walk/stand, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport clients to daily activities, ensuring on-time arrival and safety.
• Use intervention and communication skills with clients and families daily and in crisis.
• Adhere to Joint Commission policies and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses on medication management and document medications.
• Maintain cleanliness of residences and hygienic environment.
• Engage with clients to foster a connected, supportive community.
• Document activities in the electronic health record (BestNotes).
• Observe rounds and report client behavior and participation in treatment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to tailor individualized care plans.
• Orient new residents to safety procedures and emergency exits.
