Job summary

Mission Prep Healthcare, part of the AMFM Healthcare family, is hiring a Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator) to support adolescents at our residential treatment facilities in Waterford, VA. This role emphasizes safety, compassionate supervision, and coordinated care with clinical staff.

You will transport clients, monitor behavior, document in BestNotes, and collaborate with nurses and therapists. Growth opportunities exist in a mission-driven environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred.
• Background Check: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and other checks.
• Valid Driver’s License with auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and transport clients to daily activities, ensuring timely arrival and safety.
• Use intervention and communication skills with clients, families and staff daily and in crisis.
• Follow Joint Commission policies and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nurse and clinical team on medication management and document use.
• Maintain residence cleanliness and hygiene consistently.
• Engage with clients and the Mission Prep community to foster a caring environment.
