Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is seeking a Part-Time Youth Development professional for Jordan Park in Atlantic Beach, Florida. The role focuses on planning and supervising Character and Leadership activities for youth ages 6 to 18, with emphasis on safety, inclusion, and positive role modeling.

You will recruit and retain participants, collaborate with other staff, and help deliver a range of programs including Keystone Clubs and service-learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
• Ability to work with the public and coordinate activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Character and Leadership programs for members of all ages.
• Recruit and retain youth for Character and Leadership programs.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver programs during the school year.
• Maintain a Student Advisory Committee.
• Complete yearly service-learning projects.
• Ensure safety and quality in all programs and activities.
