Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida in Atlantic Beach, FL, is seeking a part-time YDP Leader to develop and supervise Character and Leadership programs for youth ages 6 to 18. The role focuses on health and life skills while fostering responsible citizenship.

The position emphasizes planning, youth guidance, and collaboration with staff to ensure safe, engaging activities and a strong Club experience. Requires a high school diploma or GED and background screening.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and implement quality programs specific to Character and Leadership.
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Character and Leadership programs for members of all ages, including Keystone Clubs, Youth of the Year, Million Members Million Hours of Service, & Torch Club.
• Recruit and retain youth for Character and Leadership programs.
• Work with other staff to implement these programs throughout the school year.
• Maintain a Student Advisory Committee.
• Complete a yearly service-learning projects.
