Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida in Fernandina Beach, FL is seeking a Youth Development Professional - Leadership & Service for Robert's Learning Center to deliver high-yield activities and leadership programs after school.

This part-time role focuses on character development and healthy youth development, with duties including planning activities, mentoring youth aged 6 to 18, and collaborating with staff.

Evening hours and occasional weekend work may be required to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
• Ability to work with the public.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for Character and Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement Character and Leadership programs for members of all ages.
• Recruit and retain youth for Character and Leadership programs.
• Work with other staff to implement programs throughout the school year.
• Maintain a Student Advisory Committee.
• Complete a yearly service-learning project.
• Ensure programs prepare youth for success and safety.
