Job summary

RIZEUP TECHNOLOGY TRAINING LLC seeks a Juvenile Justice Oversight Director to provide independent monitoring, data analysis, and reporting on DYRS facilities and services. The role aims to improve safety, outcomes, and access for youth in DC custody, with flexible work-from-home options.

Responsibilities include onsite visits, complaint investigations, and systemic reviews to identify reforms. The contractor reports to the OFC Ombudsperson and coordinates with the D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate-level degree with major in juvenile justice, social work, or related field.
• Experience may include criminal justice, case management, or facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, unannounced and announced onsite facility visits to monitor youth housing and rehabilitation.
• Receive, log, and investigate complaints regarding facility conditions and service delivery.
• Prepare quarterly performance reports detailing visits, complaints, investigations and interagency communications.
• Track DYRS adherence to ROAD Act requirements and progress on Work Plan goals, with systemic recommendations.
