Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking a Juvenile Justice Oversight Director for the District of Columbia Office of the Ombudsperson for Children. The contractor will monitor DYRS facilities, analyze data, and report findings to improve safety and service access for youth in care.

Responsibilities include site visits, data review, and collaboration with district agencies. This position is onsite in Washington, DC, with final interview in person and W2 or 1099 engagement options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to assess DYRS facilities and services.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal requirements.
• Experience in juvenile justice policy or program oversight is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent monitoring and site visits to DYRS facilities as needed.
• Perform data analysis and prepare written reports for OFC Ombudsperson and DC Council.
• Investigate complaints and assess safety, service access, and program adherence.
• Identify systemic issues and propose corrective actions and reforms.
