Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Juvenile Justice Oversight Director to provide independent monitoring, investigation, and reporting on DYRS facilities and services for the OFC. The role focuses on improving safety, service access, and outcomes for youth in care and custody.

Working onsite in Washington, DC, you will lead quarterly reviews, track ROAD Act compliance, and coordinate with District agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality according to legal requirements.
• Experience in juvenile justice or related policy analysis preferred.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular, unannounced, and announced onsite visits to facilities to ensure proper conditions and safety.
• Evaluate facility conditions, operations, and program adherence to best practices.
• Receive, log, and investigate complaints related to facility conditions and service delivery.
• Identify systemic issues and propose reforms to improve youth outcomes and access to services.
• Prepare and present periodic reports to OFC Ombudsperson and relevant District authorities.
