Job summary

Methodist Home for Children (MHC) is hiring an Assessment Center Specialist to join the Juvenile Crisis & Assessment Center in Asheville, NC. This role involves coordinating referrals from consumers and court services while conducting assessments and interviews to support youth ages 10 to 17.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in human services, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience in the human services field.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Experience working with youth ages 11–17 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and coordinating referrals from consumers and court services.
• Assessing referrals for appropriateness and gathering required information.
• Conducting intake interviews and completing assessment documentation.
• Managing data tracking, record retrieval, and information sharing.
