Northwest Youth Services is seeking a Housing Solutions Specialist in Bellingham, WA. This role serves as the primary housing navigation contact for youth and young adults, coordinating assessments, referrals, and access to emergency housing, rapid re-housing, and other housing programs.

The position requires up to 40 hours weekly, a valid WA driver’s license, and willingness to travel across Whatcom County.

Qualifikationen

• Six years of combined education and experience working with youth.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check clearance required within first 30 days of employment.
• CPR and First Aid training may be required.
• Familiarity with HMIS and coordinated entry processes.

Aufgaben

• Housing intake, assessment, and navigation for youth experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
• Manage Youth Housing Interest Pool and coordinate housing referrals.
• Maintain accurate, timely participant records in HMIS and internal systems.
• Collaborate with housing, data, and finance teams for reporting and compliance.
• Travel within Whatcom County to transport youth when required.
