Job summary

Inspire Together in San Bernardino is seeking a Housing Navigator to connect clients with affordable housing and build relationships with landlords and property management. Under supervision, you will assist with housing applications, budgeting, and linking participants to low-income supportive services, while coordinating with case managers to place youth in stable homes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of low-income housing resources, emergency shelter, transitional housing, ILP services, welfare, health care and related systems.
• Ability to advocate effectively on behalf of low-income and/or homeless clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in social services or two years of relevant social services experience.
• Experience delivering social services to homeless/low-income individuals, including youth.
• Ability to manage multiple participants and housing processes simultaneously.
