IMPOWER, Inc. is seeking a Youth Navigation Specialist to work directly with youth aged 16–24 facing homelessness or housing instability. You’ll help access safe housing, connect with community resources, and build long-term stability through field-based, trauma-informed support.

You will manage up to 25 caseloads, conduct outreach in the community, and coordinate housing placements, documentation, and services. This role is mobile and community-focused.

Formación

• Associate degree in social services or a related field is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year working with youth, young adults, or at-risk populations is required.
• Knowledge of homelessness, housing programs, community resources, and supportive services is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide trauma-informed, youth-centered housing navigation and support services.
• Maintain a caseload of up to 25 households with individualized support and case coordination.
• Conduct community outreach, meeting youth in field-based locations, with at least 90% of work in the field.
• Assist youth with housing placement, diversion strategies, transitional housing, and rapid rehousing.
• Help youth obtain essential documents (ID, birth certificate, SSN, proof of homelessness).
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
• Coordinate transportation and connect with housing providers and community services.
• Participate in youth housing meetings and partnerships.
